2. Remove the air filter housing.
3. Disconnect the shutter and stepper motor wires. To disconnect the stepper motor connector, press the locking clamp (indicated by the arrow).
4. Disconnect the throttle bracket from the throttle actuator lever.
5. Remove the fuel supply hose to the carburetor. If there are clamps on the hoses, cut them off and install clamps that are tightened with a screw instead.
6. Disconnect the vacuum tubes from the carburetor.
7. Unscrew the four nuts securing the carburetor to the intake manifold.
8. Remove the carburetor and cover the hole in the intake manifold with a clean rag.
9. The carburetor is installed in the reverse order of removal. After installation, adjust the CO content.
10. Remove the carburetor from the engine.
11. Clean the outside of the carburetor thoroughly.
12. Unscrew the four screws and remove the stepper motor.
13. Unscrew the 6 screws securing the top cover of the carburetor, remove the cover and gasket.
14. Unscrew the large brass nut located behind the fuel pipe and remove the fuel filter.
15. Remove the float shaft. Remove the float and needle valve.
16. Unscrew the three screws and remove the bimetallic spring housing, having first marked the position of the housing relative to the carburetor.
17. Unscrew the three screws and remove the damper housing, marking the position of the housing relative to the carburetor.
18. Unscrew the jets from the carburetor body.
19. Unscrew the primary and secondary emulsion tubes, remembering their position.
20. Unscrew the four screws and remove the accelerator pump cover. Remove the diaphragm and spring.
21. Unscrew the screws securing the secondary throttle valve vacuum unit. Disconnect the rocker arm rod and remove the unit.
22. Remove the power valve cover, spring and diaphragm.
23. Clean the float chamber. Blow out all the jets with compressed air and clean their seats.
