Adjustment of the air damper clearance must be performed after disassembling the carburetor or in case of insufficiently efficient engine operation.

1. Remove the ground cable from the battery and the air filter.

2. Apply marks, unscrew the 3 flange mounting screws, remove the flange and the starter cover.

3. Remove the shielding ring.

4. Set the throttle lever to the fully open position.

5. Move the starting device control lever up until the air flaps are completely closed and release the throttle actuator lever.

6. Secure the leash lever in the upper position with a rubber band.

7. Use a screwdriver to press the membrane rod until it stops.

8. Measure the air damper clearance with a calibrated rod (you can use a drill shank).

9. If the gap does not correspond to the required value, remove the protective cap from the adjusting screw and, using a screwdriver to turn the adjusting screw, set the required gap.

10. Install the shielding ring.

11. Install the lid with the bimetallic spring, aligning the installation marks. To adjust the mixture, you can turn the lid with the bimetallic spring in one direction or the other.
