Adjustment of the air damper clearance must be performed after disassembling the carburetor or in case of insufficiently efficient engine operation.

1. Remove the ground cable from the battery and the air filter.

2. Unscrew the 3 flange mounting screws, remove the flange and the starter cover.

3. Remove the shielding ring.

4. Set the throttle lever to the fully open position.

5. Move the starting device control lever up until the air flaps are completely closed and release the throttle actuator lever.

6. Secure the leash lever in the upper position with a rubber band.

7. Use a screwdriver to press the membrane rod until it stops.

8. Measure the air damper clearance with a calibrated rod (you can use a drill shank) (1) (2 – screwdriver, 3 – throttle actuator lever).



9. If the gap does not correspond to the required value, remove the protective cap from the adjusting screw and, using a screwdriver to turn the adjusting screw, set the required gap.

10. Install the protective cap into the membrane cover and remove the rubber band.

11. Turn the throttle actuator lever slightly and, by rotating the stepped washer (1), set it so that its upper edge touches the adjusting screw (2).

12. Release the throttle actuator lever, which causes the stepped washer to lock into place.

13. Measure the air damper clearance with a calibrated rod (you can use a drill shank).

14. If the gap does not correspond to the required value, bend the tongue to one side or the other and set the required gap.



15. Install the shielding ring.

16. Install the starter cover.

17. Install the air filter and connect the ground wire to the battery.
