Carburetor Cover — Removal (Escort 4)

1. Remove the ground cable from the battery and the air filter.

2. Bend back the retaining tabs, unscrew the 4 nuts and remove the air filter mounting plate.

3. Remove the wires from the automatic starting device.

4. Remove the fuel hoses.

5. Unscrew the 6 bolts securing the carburetor cover and remove it carefully.
