1. Remove the ground cable from the battery and the air filter.

2. Bend back the retaining tabs, unscrew the 4 nuts and remove the air filter mounting plate.

3. Remove the wires from the idle speed cut-off valve and the automatic starting device.

4. On an engine with a working volume of 1.4 dm³ with manual control of the starting device, remove the control cable from the carburetor.

5. Label and remove vacuum hoses.

6. Remove the accelerator cable from the control lever.

7. Remove the fuel hoses.



8. Unscrew the 4 mounting nuts and remove the carburetor.

9. Cover the hole in the intake manifold with a clean rag.

10. Install the carburetor in the reverse order of removal, then adjust the CO content.
