Removing and installing the carburetor (Fiesta 2)

Disconnect the ground wire from the battery clamp.

Remove the air filter.

Disconnect the air supply shut-off valve.

Disconnect the suction rod.

Disconnect the damper rod.

Disconnect the fuel lines.

Mark the vacuum tubes and disconnect them from the carburetor.

Disconnect the valve that turns off the engine idle speed (Fig. 2.109).

Unscrew the four Torx bolts (Fig. 2.110) and remove the carburetor.

The carburetor is installed in the reverse order. In this case, do not forget to thoroughly clean the mounting surfaces and put a new gasket. When installing the suction rod, adjust its length so that the starting valve opens completely, and also so that you can fully insert the rod into the guide.
