Disconnect the ground wire from the battery clamp.
Remove the air filter.
Remove the electrical connector from the motor and the throttle adjustment potentiometer (Fig. 2.125).
Unscrew the bracket and remove the motor together with the potentiometer.
Remove the engine from the bracket.
