Removal
Disconnect the battery from the vehicle's electrical system.
Remove the air filter.
Loosen the flexible fuel hose connection and wait until the pressure in the fuel system drops.
Disconnect the multi-pin connector plug from the valve (Fig. 2.131).
Bend back the lock washer and unscrew the injector mounting bolt.
Remove the mounting ring and take out the injector.
Installation
The nozzle is installed as follows.
Install a new gasket lubricated with sealant.
Install the injector so that the mounting journals are in the appropriate position (Fig. 2.132).
Install a new seal into the mounting ring.
Install the locating ring and secure with a new fold-down washer.
Clamp the fuel line connection.
Install the fuel filter.
Connect the battery to the vehicle's electrical system.
