Disconnect the ground wire from the battery clamp.
Place a pre-prepared container under the filter into which the fuel will drain.
Loosen the fuel supply line, being extremely careful as there is high pressure in the fuel system.
Disconnect both connections from the filter.
Unscrew the bolt of the filter fastening clamp and remove the filter. Install a new filter and tighten the clamping bolt. Install the filter, maintaining the direction of fuel flow shown by the arrow on its body (Fig. 2.138).
Connect the fuel lines.
Connect the battery and start the engine. Check the system for leaks.
