Fuel filter replacement (petrol engine)

Remove the fuse - fuel pump.

Start the engine, let it idle until it stops.

To make sure that the pressure in the fuel supply line has really dropped, crank the engine with the starter for about another five seconds.

Disconnect the battery (ground wire).

Mount the fuse - fuel pump.

Raise the rear of the vehicle securely.

Place a collecting container under the fuel filter (next to the right rear wheel, on the right near the fuel tank).

Dismantle the pipe connections of the fuel vapor recovery system.



Carefully remove the drain line from the fuel filter.

Carefully remove the supply line from the fuel filter. Remove the old filter from the holder and dispose of it as special waste.



Pay attention to the direction of flow when installing a new filter (arrow on the body).

Complete the installation of the new filter in reverse order.

Connect the battery and turn on the ignition for about 30 seconds to pressurize the system.

Carefully check the tightness of the pipe connections.

Lower the car.
