Start the engine and let it idle until it stops.
To ensure that the fuel supply pressure has actually dropped, crank the engine with the starter for about another five seconds.
Disconnect the battery (ground cable).
Install the fuse - fuel pump.
Raise the rear of the vehicle securely.
Place a collecting container under the fuel filter (near the right rear wheel, on the right side near the fuel tank).
Remove the fuel vapor recovery system pipe connections.

Carefully remove the drain line from the fuel filter.
Carefully remove the feed line from the fuel filter. Remove the old filter from its mount and dispose of it as special waste.
Unscrew bolt 1. Pull out fuel filter 2
When installing a new filter, pay attention to the direction of flow (arrow on the housing).
Complete the installation of the new filter in reverse order.
Connect the battery and turn on the ignition for about 30 seconds to increase the pressure in the system.
Carefully check the tightness of the pipeline connections.
Lower the car.
