Dismantling pipelines and hoses

Be careful: the injection fuel system is pressurized (see discharge valve) for a long time after the engine has been switched off. Therefore, always have a rag ready when loosening or disconnecting couplings.

Loosen quick release or screw connections.

For crimp clamps, insert a thin screwdriver under the clamp and loosen it by pressing it to the side.

Remove the hose with a twisting motion. If this is not possible, install an open end wrench at the end of the hose and wring out the hose with it.

To connect the hoses, it is best to use screw clamps and, accordingly, new copper gaskets on the screw flanges.
