Dismantling of pipelines and hoses (Focus Turnier 1)

Be careful: the fuel injection system remains under pressure (see pressure valve) for a long time after the engine is switched off. Therefore, always have a rag at hand when loosening or disconnecting couplings.

Loosen quick-release or screw-type fasteners.

For crimp clamps, insert a thin screwdriver under the clamp and loosen it by pushing it to the side.

Remove the hose using a twisting motion. If this is not possible, place an open-end wrench at the end of the hose and use it to squeeze the hose off.

To connect the hoses, it is best to use screw clamps and, accordingly, new copper gaskets on the screw flanges.
