Dismantling pipelines and hoses (general instructions) (Mondeo 3)

Caution: The fuel system in injection systems remains under pressure for a long time after the engine is switched off (see pressure relief valve). Therefore, when disconnecting or separating clutches, keep rags around the "action area".

ORDER OF EXECUTION

Disconnect quick-release couplings or screw connections.
If there are any clamps, run a thin screwdriver under the clamps and loosen them by pushing them back and forth from the sides.
Disconnect the hose using a twisting motion. If this doesn't work? Then insert a wrench behind the end of the hose and pry it away from the pipe.
It is best to use screw clamps to connect the hoses and new copper gaskets at the screw flanges.
