Fuel pump in the fuel tank in Focus gasoline engines
Fuel filter: in gasoline and diesel engines, it is equally installed in front of the fuel injection system. It filters liquid and solid ballast in the fuel.
Carbon filter: installed in the engine compartment, binds the fuel vapor coming from the fuel tank. When the engine is running, the solenoid valve opens - then the associated vapors inevitably enter the suction system from the carbon filter and mix with fresh gas.
Fuel vapor absorption system: 1 - ventilation tube from the fuel tank; 2 - activated carbon filter; 3 - cylinder head; 4 - intake manifold; 5 - solenoid valve for system control.
