Disconnect the ground wire from the battery clamp.
Drain the coolant from the engine cooling system.
Remove the multi-pin connector from the sensor.
Remove and install the sensor. Screw in the sensor carefully. Insert the wire connector into place.
The remaining steps are performed in the reverse order than indicated above.
