DOHC engine temperature sensor location
DOHC engine temperature sensor (indicated by an arrow) located on the front side of the intake manifold.
For OHC and DOHC models, the location of the engine temperature sensor is shown in the illustrations.
On V6 models, the sensor is located below the upper hose connection on the front left side of the cylinder head.
1. Relieve pressure in the cooling system by unscrewing the expansion tank cap.
2. Remove the connector from the sensor. Unscrew and remove the sensor.
3. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Before screwing the sensor, apply sealant to the thread of the sensor.
