OHC Engine Temperature Sensor (manifold removed)
DOHC Engine Temperature Sensor Location
The DOHC engine temperature sensor (arrow) is located on the front side of the intake manifold.
For OHC and DOHC models, the location of the engine temperature sensor is shown in the figures.
On V6 models, the sensor is located below the upper hose connection on the front left side of the cylinder head.
1. Relieve the pressure in the cooling system by unscrewing the expansion tank cap.
2. Remove the connector from the sensor. Unscrew and remove the sensor.
3. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Before screwing in the sensor, apply sealant to the sensor thread.
