Removal and installation an electric fan (Scorpio 1)

1. Disconnect the ground wire from the battery.

2. To provide additional working space when removing the cooling fan shroud (which is removed from underneath the vehicle), raise the front of the vehicle and secure it on stands.

3. Disconnect the wires from the engine and remove the wiring from the fan shroud brackets.

4. Disconnect the expansion tank hose from the fan housing.

5. Remove the two bolts securing the fan shroud to the top of the radiator, then tilt the top of the shroud away from the radiator and lift the shroud off to release the lower mounting brackets. Remove the fan from underneath the vehicle.

6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
