You will need a flat-blade screwdriver.
1. Remove the cooling system radiator (see "Replacing the cooling system radiator").
NOTE: It is necessary to remove the cooling system radiator because, due to the particular layout of the engine compartment, it is impossible to remove the electric fan with the casing from it when the radiator is installed on the vehicle.

2. Use a screwdriver to press the two spring clips of the electric fan casing at its bottom on the left and right…

3. …slide the shroud up the radiator (all four shroud brackets will extend simultaneously from the four holders on the radiator tanks)…

4. …until all four casing brackets come out of the holders on the radiator…

5. …and remove the electric fan assembly with the casing.
6. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE: Replacement of the radiator fan motor of the cooling system is described in Section 10 "Electrical equipment" (see "Removing and installing the electric motor of the radiator fan of the engine cooling system").
