Cylinder Head Temperature Sensor (CNT) (1.6L Zetec-SE/1.4L)

Withdrawal

1. Remove spark plug wires. See Section 303-07A / 303-07B / 303-07C / 303-07D for more information.

2. Disconnect the electrical connector of the cylinder head temperature sensor (SNT).



3. Remove and discard the SNT sensor as unnecessary.

Installation

1.

NOTE: A new sensor should be installed each time the SNT sensor is removed, as its working surface is deformed during installation.

Reinstall the elements in reverse order.
