Cylinder Head Temperature Sensor (CHT) (1.8 l diesel) (Focus 1)

Removal

1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery. For additional information, refer to Section 414-01.

2. Disconnect the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose.



3. Disconnect the PCV hose.



4. Disconnect the PCV oil separator.



5. Remove the PCV oil separator.





6. Disconnect the CHT sensor plug.



7. Remove the SNT sensor.

Installation

1. Install the elements back in place in reverse order.
