Injector Control Module (IDM) (1.8L Diesel)

Removal

1. Using WDS, download and write the configuration setting data from the injector control module.

2. Remove the air deflector.



3. Remove the air filter. For more information, refer to the Air Filter chapter in this section.

4. Disconnect the front air cleaner intake manifold retainer.



5. Disconnect the rear air cleaner intake manifold retainer from the engine support bracket.



6. Remove the air cleaner intake manifold.

• 1. Disconnect the pipeline.
• 2. Remove the pipeline.

7. Remove the battery tray. For more information, refer to Section 414-01.

8. Disconnect the breather tube from the IDM cover.



9. Remove the IDM cover.



10. Disconnect the IDM plug connectors.



11. Disconnect the IDM plug connector and remove the IDM.

Installation

1. Install the elements back in place in reverse order.
