Injector Control Module (IDM) (1.8L Diesel)

Withdrawal

1. Using WDS, download and write configuration data from the nozzle control module.

2. Remove the air baffle.



3. Remove the air filter. For more information, please refer to the Air Filter chapter available in this section.

4. Disconnect the front fixing element of the air filter intake pipe.



5. Disconnect the rear air cleaner intake manifold retainer from the engine support bracket.



6. Remove the air filter inlet pipe.

• 1. Disconnect the pipeline.
• 2. Remove the pipeline.

7. Remove the battery tray. See Section 414-01 for more information.

8. Disconnect the breather tube from the IDM cap.



9. Remove the IDM cover.



10. Disconnect the IDM connectors.



11. Disconnect the IDM plug and remove the IDM.

Installation

1. Replace the elements in reverse order.
