Knock sensor (KS) (1.4L/1.6L)

Withdrawal

1. Remove the generator. See Section 414-02 for more information.

2. Disconnect the plug connector of the KS sensor.

• 1. Slide the clip down.
• 2. Disconnect the electrical connector.

3. Disconnect the plug connector of the KS sensor from the dipstick tube of the oil level indicator.



4. Remove KS.

Installation

CAUTION: Make sure the KS sensor does not touch the cylinder head or crankcase ventilation cover.

Reinstall the elements in reverse order.
