Heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) (1.6L Zetec-SE/1.4L)

Withdrawal

1. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector (HO2S).



2. Remove the HO2S.

Installation

CAUTION: When installing a new HO2S, it is possible that the new element will ship with a longer cable than the one removed. It is important to route and secure the cable so that it cannot be damaged by heat or moving parts and cause noise, vibration or harshness problems (NVH).

1. Replace the elements in reverse order.
