Idle Air Control Valve (1.6L Zetec-SE/1.4L)

Withdrawal

1. Disconnect the idle air control valve (IAC).



2. Disconnect the IAC valve electrical connector.



3. Remove the IAC valve.

• Discard the IAC valve seal as it is no longer needed.

Installation

1. Install a new IAC valve seal.



2. Replace the elements in reverse order.
