Idle Air Control Valve (1.6L Zetec-SE/1.4L) (Focus 1)

Removal

1. Disconnect the idle air control (IAC) valve.



2. Disconnect the IAC valve electrical connector.



3. Remove the IAC valve.

• Discard the IAC valve seal as it is no longer needed.

Installation

1. Install a new IAC valve seal.



2. Install the elements back in place in reverse order.
