The valve shuts off the fuel supply when the engine ignition is turned off. If the valve fails, the engine cannot be started.
1. To check the valve's functionality, turn on the ignition and remove and connect the wire to the valve. If the valve is working properly, you will hear a characteristic click of the valve operating.
2. If the valve does not work, it is also possible that the wiring is damaged, the condition of which is checked by connecting the valve terminal to the positive battery terminal with an additional wire.
3. The valve can also be checked by removing it from the carburetor, for which unscrew the valve and connect its body to ground.
4. Connect the valve terminal to the battery positive with an additional wire and insert a steel pin with a diameter of up to 4 mm from the front side of the valve, which should be pulled in by the valve. Otherwise, the valve must be replaced.
