Position of the jet needle
1 – transition edge of the jet needle; 2 – main jet body; 3 – air valve
The amount of fuel supplied to the engine depends on the needle and its condition.
Removal
1. Remove the ground cable from the battery and the air filter.
2. Unscrew 7 screws and remove the carburetor cover.
3. Remove the plug opposite the jet needle from the carburetor body.
4. Remove the spring.
5. Carefully unscrew the jet needle.
6. If necessary, replace the jet needle.
Installation
1. Carefully screw the jet needle into the air valve.
2. The transition edge of the jet needle should be level with the end of the air valve.
3. Install the spring and insert the plug into place.
4. Install the carburetor cover, air filter and connect the ground wire to the battery.
