Dismantling of a head of the block of cylinders

            0

1. Disassembly of the cylinder head includes the removal of the intake and exhaust valves and related components. Unscrew the fastenings of the valve levers, the hinge pins and the levers themselves from the cylinder head studs. Mark the details so that you can put each one in its place later.

2. Before removing the valves, mark them so that they will then be installed in the same guides.

3. Compress the spring in the first valve with a special tool and remove the holders (see picture). Then remove the screen retainers, springs and spring seat. Remove the umbrella seal from the guides, then pull the valve out of the head. If the valve is stuck in the guides (does not come out), push it back and clean the groove area of the cracker with a file.

4. Repeat the procedure for the remaining valves. Remember that all parts of the valve must be kept together in order to install them in their respective places.
