General information (Taurus 1 and 2)

This section of Chapter 2 includes information regarding the overhaul of the cylinder head(s) of the internal parts of the engine.

The following sections are written assuming that the engine has been removed from the vehicle. Information regarding repairs to an engine that has not been removed, as well as removal and installation of external components necessary for a major overhaul, is provided in parts A and IN of this chapter and in section 5.

Part C contains only those specifications that are necessary for the inspection and overhaul procedures. Additional specifications are available in Parts A and IN.
