5. Sequence of engine disassembly during a complete overhaul:
- valve cover;
- intake and exhaust manifolds;
- valve levers and pushrods;
- valve tappets;
- cylinder head(s);
- camshaft timing chain cover;
- camshaft drive chain and sprockets;
- camshaft;
- oil pan;
- oil pump;
- piston/connecting rod assemblies;
- crankshaft and main bearings.
