Dismantling of a head of the block of cylinders

1. Position the cylinder head at the front and rear on two pieces of wood.

2. Remove the intake and exhaust manifolds along with the carburetor.



3. Compress the valve springs in order using a standard spring compressor and remove the top spring retainer cotters. Remove the top poppet, valve spring and oil seal, being careful not to damage the valve stems.

4. Remove valves.

5. Check the condition of the cylinder head parts.
