Removing and installing the injector (Escort 4)

1. Remove the ground wire from the battery.

2. Remove the intake silencer.

3. Remove the connector from the injector.

4. Bend back the fasteners and unscrew the mounting bolts.

5. Remove the holder and carefully remove the injector from the CFI unit, making sure to keep the seals intact.

6. When installing, use new seals, pre-lubricated with Vaseline or petrol, since when installing "dry" there is a risk that the seals will be crushed and the seal will be broken, which will disrupt the operation of the injection system.
