Estimated suspension height adjustment

General equipment: Gearbox jack.

All cars

1. NOTE: Final tightening of the hanger elements should be done at the designed hanger height.

Remove the spring. See Section 204-02 for more information.

3-, 4- and 5-door version

2. Disconnect the anti-roll bar from the rear lower arm.



3. Make a spacer 20 mm wide and 113 mm long.



4. Using a suitable block of wood and an appropriate transmission jack, raise the suspension to the calculated height.

• Install the wood block and gearbox jack as shown.

NOTE: The spacer must be installed exactly as shown.

Install the spacer.

• 1. Remove the suspension travel stop.
• 2. Install spacer between rear lower arm and cross member, ensuring spacer is vertical.

6. Make a spacer 20 mm wide and 157 mm long.



7. Using a suitable block of wood and an appropriate gearbox jack, raise the suspension to the calculated height.

• Install the wood block and gearbox jack as shown.

NOTE: The spacer must be installed exactly as shown.

Install the spacer.

• Install the spacer between the rear lower arm and cross member, ensuring that the spacer is in a vertical plane.
