53. The car is pulled to one side


1. Tires are underinflated.

2. The tires are defective.

3. Severe wear of suspension or steering components.

4. The front wheels require camber adjustment.

5. Front brakes grabbing (see chapter 9).

54. Angular oscillations, shaking, vibrations


1. Unbalanced or damaged wheels.

2. Wheel bearings are not tightened, worn out, installed incorrectly (chapter 10).

3. Shock absorbers and/or suspension components are damaged (chapter 10).

55. Strong rocking when turning or braking


1. Shock absorbers defective. Replace the entire unit (chapter 10).

2. Broken or weak springs and/or suspension elements, check as stated in chapter 10.

56. Greater steering rigidity


1. Lack of fluid in the power steering reservoir (chapter 1).

2. The tire pressure is not correct (chapter 1).

57. Large play in the steering wheel


1. Severe wear of suspension or steering components (chapter 10).

2. The steering gear mechanism is damaged (chapter 10).

58. No power steering


1. The power steering pump drive belt is loose or incorrectly installed (chapter 1).

2. Low fluid level (chapter 1).

3. Hoses or pipes are pinched. Check and install correctly.



4. Air in the power steering. Bleed the system (chapter 10).

59. Increased overall tire wear


1. The tire pressure is not correct (chapter 1).

2. Wheel alignment is out of alignment. Adjustment is required.

3. Wheels are damaged. Check and replace if necessary.

4. Suspension or steering components are badly worn (chapter 10).

60. Increased wear of tires on the outer or inner side along the entire circumference


1. Air pressure is not normal (chapter 1).

2. Incorrect wheel alignment.

3. The suspension arm is bent or twisted (chapter 10).

61. Sawtooth tire wear


1. Air pressure is not normal (chapter 1).

2. Incorrect front wheel alignment.

3. Steering components are loose or damaged (chapter 10).

62. The tire tread is worn out in one place


1. Incorrect wheel balancing.

2. Tire defect (chapter 1).
