Step washer for adjusting the clearance of the intermediate stage
1 – stepped washer, 2 – adjusting screw
1. Turn the throttle actuator lever slightly and, by rotating the stepped washer, set it so that its upper edge touches the adjusting screw.
2. Release the throttle actuator lever, which causes the stepped washer to lock into place.
3. Measure the air damper clearance with a calibrated rod (you can use a drill shank).
4. If the gap does not correspond to the required value, bend the tongue (indicated by the arrow) in one direction or the other and set the required gap.
5. Install the shielding ring.
6. Install the starter cover.
7. Install the air filter and connect the ground wire to the battery.
