Stepped washer for intermediate stage clearance adjustment

1. Slightly turn the throttle actuator lever and, rotating the stepped washer, install it so that its upper edge touches the adjusting screw.
2. Release the throttle actuator lever, as a result of which the stepped washer is fixed.
3. Measure with a calibrated rod (can shank drill) air damper gap.
4. If the gap does not correspond to the required value, bend the tongue to one side or the other (indicated by an arrow) and set the required clearance.
5. Install the shield ring.
6. Install starter cover.
7. Install the air filter and connect the ground wire to the battery.
