Throttle pushrod assembly
1 - Fuel inlet pipe, 2 - Air damper, 3 - Accelerator pump, 4 - Diaphragm pusher lever, 5 - Plastic cover, 6 - Throttle damper, 7 - Secondary chamber throttle vacuum diaphragm
1. Remove the ground wire from the battery and the air filter housing.
2. Remove the damper vacuum hose.
3. Remove the plastic screen from the throttle damper.
4. Unscrew the two mounting screws, remove the control rod from the throttle linkage and remove the assembly from the carburetor.
5. Unscrew the four mounting screws, remove the diaphragm cover and remove the spring.
6. Remove the diaphragm from the housing.
7. Clean the mating surfaces of the housing and diaphragm cover.
8. Install the diaphragm, spring, cover into the housing and screw on the cover mounting screws.
9. Further assembly is carried out in the reverse order of disassembly, but before installing the plastic screen, check the adjustment of the throttle damper.
