Withdrawal
1. This drive is installed in the front right corner of the engine compartment. Disconnect the negative battery cable first.
2. To improve access, remove the coolant reservoir and install it over the engine without disconnecting the hoses.
3. Disconnect the drive connectors (see fig. 24.3, a, b).
4. Turn out bolts and remove a drive (see Fig. 24.4, a, b).
5. Remove the engine cover (see fig. 24.5).
6. Rotate the upper throttle control segment to create a slight slack in the accelerator cable between the segment and the throttle body (see fig. 24.6).
7. Pull the wire end cap out of the segment. Then remove the cable from the caliper on the engine housing (see fig.24.7).
8. Rotate the lower throttle control segment to create a slight slack in the accelerator cable between the segment and the accelerator pedal. Pull the wire end cap out of the segment. Then remove the cable from the caliper on the engine housing (see fig. 24.8, a, b).
Installation
9. Installation - in the reverse order of removal. Adjust the accelerator cable (chapter 4A).
