Servo brake pedal connector

Withdrawal

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable (chapter 5 paragraphs 1).

2. Remove the master cylinder and servo unit (paragraphs 11 and 16). If desired, the master cylinder can not be disconnected from the servo amplifier unit.

3. Fold back the floor mats in both front footwells.

4. Have a second person support the connecting link coming out of the engine compartment.

5. Turn away nuts and bolts from each party of a bulkhead of engine compartment. Remove the connecting link assembly from the engine compartment. If necessary, have an assistant hold the bolt heads from inside the engine compartment as you remove the nuts.

6. Clean the connecting link components and inspect the bushings for wear. Replace if necessary.

Installation

7. Installation - in the reverse order of removal. When installing the master cylinder and servo amplifier assembly, see paragraphs 11 and 16.
