Removal
1. On models not equipped with ABS, two of these valves are installed on the outlet ports of the master cylinder and are connected to the rear brake lines.
2. Unscrew the cap of the reserve tank and remove the liquid from it (paragraph 11).
3. Place rags around the master cylinder to catch any drips.
4. Wipe the valve to be removed. Hold the valve with a wrench and unscrew the connection nut. Pull the pipe out, slightly bending it away from the valve.
5. Remove the valve from the master cylinder.
6. Note that the primary and secondary circuit valves have threads of different diameters, so as not to mix them up during installation. The thread diameter of the primary circuit valve is 12 mm, and that of the secondary circuit valve is 10 mm (see Fig. 18.6).

Installation
7. Installation - in the reverse order of removal. Finally, remove air from the hydraulic system (paragraph 15).
