Disconnect the negative cable from the battery, remove and clean the carburetor. Unscrew the four screws and remove the retaining ring and the air drive diaphragm, disconnecting it from the air valve drive lever.

Before installation, attach the lever to the diaphragm and install the diaphragm. Make sure that the vacuum hole of the diaphragm is opposite the vacuum hole 4 (Fig. 2.89) of the carburetor body and the diaphragm body.
