Replacing the dispensing needle

            0

Disconnect the negative cable from the battery and remove the air filter. Remove the carburetor cover by unscrewing the seven screws securing it. From inside the carburetor, remove the plug of the hole for adjusting the position of the dosing needle. Remove the spring from the dosing needle. Unscrew and carefully remove the dosing needle. Install a new metering needle, screw it in so that its shoulder is flush with the vertical wall of the carburetor body (pic. 2.87).

Connect the spring to the needle (pic. 2.88), and install a new protective plug in the diffuser hole through which the needle was installed.

Install the carburetor cover with a new gasket. Install the air filter and connect the battery. Check idle speed and CO content in exhaust gases.
