Fast Idle Speed Adjustment
1 – high-speed idle washer,
2 – location of the adjusting screw on the middle step of the stepped washer
1. Adjust idle speed and fuel mixture quality.
2. Warm up the engine to operating temperature and remove the air filter housing.
3. Open the throttle valve slightly, then close it until the adjusting screw is set to the third (middle) stage of the fast idle stepped washer, and release the throttle valve.
4. Start the engine without touching the gas pedal and check the engine speed.
5. If necessary, adjust the engine speed by turning the fast idle speed adjustment screw. Press and release the accelerator pedal. Make sure the engine returns to idle speed.
6. Turn off the engine, disconnect the tachometer and install the air filter housing.
