Adjusting the engine idle speed (Fiesta 2)

Start the engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature.

Connect a tachometer of the appropriate type for the diesel engine.

Check the operation of the maximum engine speed limiter.

The engine must never run for more than 5 seconds at maximum speed (without load).

The maximum engine speed can only be adjusted in specialized BOSCH service workshops.
