Fuel filter replacement

            0

Disconnect the ground wire from the battery clamp.

Place a container under the engine to catch the fuel flowing out.

Disconnect both fuel lines from the filter (pic. 2.163).

Close the clutch housing in such a way that the diesel fuel escaping does not flood the clutch.

Unscrew the filter housing from the bracket and remove (pic. 2.164).

Install a new fuel filter.

Connect both fuel lines with new gaskets.

Unscrew the bleed screw on the filter bracket and raise the rear of the car with a lift.

Screw the bleeder screw in immediately after fuel appears in it.

Lower the back of the car.

Connect the battery to the car's electrical network.

Start the engine and let it run for about one minute to remove any air that may be in the fuel system.

Remove the container into which the diesel fuel drained and remove the cover from the clutch housing.
