Install the pump with the dowel pin screwed in and tighten the mounting bolts.
Install the fuel injection pump pulley (drive wheel) and screw in the mounting bolts, but do not tighten them too much yet.
Make sure the dowel pin is screwed into the pump body correctly.
Install the extended hole of the drive wheel accordingly.
Install the timing belt so that its working (pulling) side is taut.
Loosen the tensioner and allow it to rest on the timing belt. Check the belt tension and tighten the tensioner mounting bolts.
Remove the dowel pins.
Make two turns of the crankshaft and set it to a position close to TDC.
Screw the dowel pin into the engine housing. Turn the crankshaft in the direction of its rotation while the engine is running until the shaft touches the dowel pin (in the hole in the belt pulley).
Screw the dowel pins through the holes in the transmission belt pulleys.
Tighten the bolts securing the belt pulleys. Perform the remaining steps in the reverse order of removing the fuel injection pump.
