Adjusting the idle speed (Sierra)

1. Warm up the engine until the radiator fan turns on.

2. Wait (with the engine idling) until the fan turns off.

3. Check the idle speed. To adjust the idle speed, turn the adjusting bolt (arrow) located near the fuel pump lever until the desired speed is obtained.
