Fuel filter assembly

Fuel injection system





1 - fuel pump, 2 - engine shutdown solenoid valve (STOP valve), 3 – control elements holder, 4 – closing plug, 5 – fuel supply pipe coupling bolt, 6 – fuel return pipe coupling, 7 – fuel supply pipelines, 8 – injector fuel return lines, 9 – injector body, 10 – atomizer


Filter replacement



1. Replaceable filter element (2 - see fig. Fuel filter assembly) clamped between the filter holder (1) and sump (3).

2. unscrew the bolt (V - see fig. Bleeding air from the fuel system) attaching the sump to the filter holder.

3. Disconnect the sump (3 - see fig. Fuel filter assembly) and replacement element (2) fuel filter.


4. Install the new element to be replaced on the sump and push it to the filter holder.

5. Screw in the bolt carefully (V - see fig. Bleeding air from the fuel system) attaching the sump to the filter holder.

6. Check fuel filter connections for leaks.

Removing water from the sump





1. Place a container under the fuel filter, loosen the drain bolt (E) and a bolt of fastening of the pipeline of removal of fuel from the filter (C - sump).

2. Tighten both bolts after the water stops flowing out.
