Withdrawal
1.
NOTE: Use a hex wrench to hold the piston rod in place.
Loosen the right suspension strut nut five turns.
2. Raise the vehicle. See Section 100-02 for more information.
3.
CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the case.
Disconnect the lower control arm from the steering knuckle.

CAUTION: Support axle shaft. The inner hinge should not be tilted more than 18 degrees. External hinge - at an angle exceeding 45 degrees.
Disconnect the axle shaft with the intermediate shaft from the gearbox and secure them to the side.
- Discard the mounting bracket and intermediate bearing nuts as they are no longer needed.
- Collect the oil in a suitable container.
5. Remove the front axle oil seal.
Installation
1. General notes:
- Install new self-locking nuts and spring rings.
2. Install the front axle oil seal. Insert the seal up to the stop.

CAUTION: Support axle shaft. The inner hinge should not be tilted more than 18 degrees. External hinge - at an angle exceeding 45 degrees.
CAUTION: Do not damage the oil seal.
NOTE: Install new bracket and new intermediate bearing nuts.
Install the front axle shaft with the intermediate shaft into the gearbox.

CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the covers.
Install the lower control arm to the steering knuckle.
5.
NOTE: The fill level should be 0-5mm below the bottom edge of the filler hole.
Check the transmission fluid level. Use transmission fluid to top up if needed.
6.
NOTE: Use a hex socket wrench to hold the piston rod.
Tighten the suspension strut nut.
- Lock against turning with the Allen key.
- Tighten by hand with a ring wrench.
- Tighten to the prescribed torque using a torque wrench.
