Mechanical five-speed gearbox type MT 75

Since November 1988, in Ford Sierra vehicles with diesel engines, a five-speed manual transmission type MT 75 has been installed instead of a five-speed manual transmission type N.

Three-shaft gearbox, classic design has five synchronized forward gears (4th gear - direct) and synchronized reverse gear. The box is installed along the axis of the car behind the engine. The shift lever is mounted on the floor of the car.

Service interval: level check every 20,000 km or once a year; Periodic oil change is not provided.
