Mechanical five-speed gearbox type MT 75 (Sierra)

            0

Since November 1988, in Ford Sierra vehicles with diesel engines, the mechanical five-speed gearbox type MT 75 has been installed instead of the mechanical five-speed gearbox type N.

The gearbox is a three-shaft, classic design with five synchronized gears for forward movement (4th gear is direct) and a synchronized reverse gear. The gearbox is installed along the vehicle axis behind the engine. The gear shift lever is installed on the vehicle floor.
