Stabilizer
Since March 1989 (production date code "KM") the stabilizer arm bushing and suspension arms are of a new type.
Checking and adjusting wheel alignment
Attention! When adjusting the toe-in, the tie rods on both sides should be turned through the same angle.
1. Loosen the tie rod locknuts.
2. Remove the clamps securing the protective covers from the steering gear housing.
3. Rotate tie rods:
- to increase convergence - on the left side clockwise, on the right side counterclockwise;
- to reduce convergence - on the left side counterclockwise, on the right side clockwise.
4. Tighten the tie rod locknuts.
5. Install the protective cover clamps.
