Since March 1989 (manufacture date code "KM") the stabilizer arm bushing and suspension arms are installed of a new type.

Checking and adjusting wheel alignment



Caution: When adjusting the wheel alignment, the steering rods on both sides should be turned by the same angle.


1. Loosen the steering rod locknuts.

2. Remove the clamps securing the protective covers from the steering gear housing.

3. Turn the steering rods:
  • to increase the toe-in - clockwise on the left side, counterclockwise on the right side;
  • to reduce toe-in - counterclockwise on the left side, clockwise on the right side.

4. Tighten the steering rod locknuts.

5. Install the clamps for securing the protective covers.
