Installing the flywheel (Scorpio 1)

1. Install the engine back plate onto the two mounting pins.

2. Check that the mating surfaces of the flywheel and crankshaft are clean and install the flywheel on the crankshaft, aligning the marks made during disassembly.

3. Install the six flywheel bolts and tighten them lightly. Block the flywheel from turning and tighten the mounting bolts gradually and diagonally to the specified torque.

4. Install the clutch disc with pressure plate on the flywheel.

5. Secure the pressure plate with the bolts, centre the clutch disc using the input shaft of the old gearbox or a suitable drift, and then tighten the bolts to the correct torque.
