Installing an oil pump (Scorpio 1)

1. Check the mating surfaces of the oil pump and crankcase, they must be clean.



2. Insert the hexagonal pump drive shaft with the pointed end facing the distributor. The lock washer should be 127.5 mm from the rounded end of the drive shaft.

3. Install the oil pump, securing it to the crankcase with two bolts, and tighten the bolts to the specified torque.

Attention! When installing the pump, it must be filled with engine oil and manually turned one full revolution.
